LESSONS

 

Eric teaches beginner through advanced piano and percussion, and beginner guitar out of two base studios: his home studio in northern Albemarle County (Barboursville/Stony Point area), and his church studio in the city of Charlottesville, near UVA (percussion limited at church studio).  Additionally, Eric will travel to you (convenience fee added) if you prefer the comfort of your own home.  Eric's wife Sarah has limited availability for new voice students in her studio. 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute lessons are available.  Eric generally recommends one 30-minute lesson once per week for most beginning students. Short-term lessons are also available for students preparing for auditions or performances.

 

All students have the option of participating in The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program - a recognized national standard and sequenced program for people studying music privately, from beginner through advanced levels.  While this is not mandatory, Eric highly encourages each of his students to consider the benefits and potential.

 

Lessons are paid in advance, per month or per season (academic year and summer).

  • 45-minute Lessons, $50

  • 60-minute Lessons, $65

  • In-Home Convenience Fee starts at $20 per Lesson

Enrollment is always rolling and students may begin lessons at any point during a season if there are open lesson times available. Once enrolled, there is an obligation to complete the season, unless you have made arrangements for a short-term option.

Eric collaborates with many of the top musicians in the area and across the country, so whether you need solo piano or a full ensemble, Eric is able to customize the perfect option for your event or studio session.

COMPOSITION/ARRANGING

 

Whether you need tracks arranged for your album, music upon which to set poetry, or a unique composition to celebrate a special person in your life, Eric will work with you to achieve your creative goals.
